“The mind has a powerful way of attracting things that are in harmony with it, good and bad.”

Using Gratitude To Shift Your Mindset
What you focus on grows. Therefore, shift your mindset!
A story is told of a young man who had a difficult time realizing his potential. Everything he tried failed, he was repeatedly forming new relationships and failing at them. He felt his life was a regrettable one.
Negative self-talk and feelings of inadequacy ruled everything he did.
However, he had a close friend who always encouraged him to focus on the good things that were happening in his life. Listening to such advice wasn’t easy since he constantly reflected on all the bad things that were happening.
He would sit and think about how close he came to seeing that business idea off the ground.
He would talk about his failed relationships along with his many failures at work until he started to believe he would never amount to anything.
Before long, the young man failed to reach any of his goals or give his relationships the desired attention because he strongly believed there was nothing good in his life.
Fortunately for him, his good old friend told him to begin focusing on things that he is grateful for just for a couple of months and see the effect such an attitude would have on his life.
SHIFT YOUR MINDSET!!
He was told to focus on simple things we often take for granted. Good health, life, people in your life, your ability to work, etc.
It was only two months after he had started practicing thankfulness that he began seeing significant changes in his life.
He started believing in himself, felt more capable of attaining his goals, and began seeing noteworthy changes in his relationships.
Looking back, the young man realized the importance of seeing the glass half full. It was because of appreciating the good things in his life that he was able to completely turn his life around.
Changing your life begins with cultivating a mindset of gratitude and shift your mindset by focusing on what you are grateful for.
Gratitude helps you focus on where you once were and where you currently are. It assures you that you have people who care about your growth, development, and wellbeing. It has the power of multiplying your blessings.
Positive Thinking Can Open Your Eyes To The Many Benefits Of Gratitude.
Gratitude means showing how much you appreciate the important role that certain people play in your life.
It means expressing your thankfulness for the fact that a particular somebody enabled you to turn your life around or that they did something that will have a long-lasting impact on your work, relations, or life.
It means saying the right words at the right time and to the right people.
Appreciating what people do for you means saying “Thank you” “You have changed my life” “This means the world to me.” It means sending someone a gift and making them realize the important role they play in your life.
Exercising gratitude daily is the key to positive thinking which helps open your eyes to the many possibilities in your life.
It can increase your self-confidence, help you overcome hardships, and improve your mood as well as your overall health.
If you are struggling with winning the fight against negative thoughts begin familiarizing yourself with “This is what I am thankful for today…” and listing at least three things you are grateful for.
Do the same thing at the end of the day before going to bed. Believe me, your mind will be more capable of coping with difficult situations that you can imagine. You will be able to move on from negative occurrences, forgive more often, and remain peaceful.
Gratitude Can Increase Your Self-Confidence And Help You Realize Your Potential.
A grateful mindset has the power of taking you from where you are today to where you desire to be because it opens your eyes to your abilities and increases your self-confidence.
You can use thankfulness to improve your confidence by appreciating your skills and talents.
The only way of building your skills is by being thankful for having them in the first place and constantly looking for ways of improving them and using them for the greater good.
You can use your skills to turn your life around but you can also use them to make a difference in someone else’s life.
It’s amazing what doing good for someone else can do to your mindset.
Being there for someone, showing an interest in their lives, and helping them move forward will give you a hundred reasons why you should be grateful.
The most effective way of using gratitude to shift your mindset is by focusing on the good things that are happening in your life, appreciating individuals that are positively influencing your growth, focusing on your ability to keep moving forward, and doing good for someone other than yourself.
IT STARTS WITH YOU!!
